ResponsibilitiesAs a Certified Nursing Assistant, your role will involve assisting in the provision of nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering personal care focused on hygiene and physical comfort, which encompasses feeding, bathing, grooming, changing clothes, making beds, assisting with mobility, lifting, turning, moving, transferring, skin care, and managing bowel and bladder functions. You will provide essential care to meet the primary needs and comfort of your patients, aligned with your scope of practice, skills, and competencies.
- Preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for specific medical procedures and examinations.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or military medical specialty training.
- Preferred six months of relevant work experience.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Washington State Nursing Commission.
- Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from an accredited healthcare provider.
