Are you ready to advance your career with a leading logistics provider? At Kuehne+Nagel, we are seeking a dedicated Air Logistics Healthcare Operations Specialist to enhance our Air Logistics division.
Your Role
In this position, you will be tasked with overseeing and updating shipment orders utilizing Kuehne+Nagel's sophisticated IT systems. You will also ensure a premium customer experience for our clients. These systems offer real-time tracking and transparency throughout the shipment process—from order initiation and collection to delivery and every key milestone along the way. You will benefit from customizable alerts and notifications based on established business protocols, promoting timely deliveries and effective logistics oversight.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and trace shipments through alarm management and verification at critical checkpoints.
- Engage in effective communication with Kuehne+Nagel vendors (service partners and carriers) to consistently meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs), Customer Service, and the Business Development team to maximize client satisfaction.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to management while keeping clients informed in coordination with Customer Service.
- Ensure compliance with all time and temperature requirements during transportation.
- Share responsibility for managing the department's mailbox, including new bookings and internal inquiries.
- Ability to view computer screens at both close range and distance.
- Report directly to the Operational Shift Supervisor.
- Work Schedule: 4 weekdays plus 1 weekend day (2nd Shift 2pm-8pm).
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- 6+ years of experience in Air Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
