About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer 2 to join our team at J.E. Dunn Construction Group. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement safety and quality plans, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation of estimates, schedules, and work plans, and provide updates to project superintendents and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of project crew schedules, and assist with the coordination of subcontractor scope of work.
  • Conduct site observations and provide feedback to project leadership to improve project productivity and efficiency.
  • Support the close-out of projects, including punch lists, operations and maintenance manuals, and as-built drawings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of construction experience, with a focus on project engineering and management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with tradespeople, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction technology, including CMiC and other company tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean processes and philosophy, and the ability to apply fundamentals of construction management.
