Nuclear Medicine Specialist

At TotalMed Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. This role requires strong communication and adaptability skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging purposes.
- Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to acquire images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Requirements:
- ARRT (N) certification.
- BLS certification.
- Two years of recent nuclear medicine experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
