Medical Records - Central Supply Coordinator

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Medical Records - Central Supply Coordinator. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of medical records for our residents.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents, both hard copy and electronic.
  • Conduct regular audits and validation reports to ensure the integrity of medical records, communicating findings to the Director of Nursing (DON).
  • Maintain the records of all discharged residents in a timely and organized manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school with a diploma or equivalent, with a preference for college or medical billing/coding schooling. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is also acceptable.
  • Experience: Prior training is desirable but not necessary, as on-the-job training and in-service will be provided. Experience in the Long Term Care field is preferred.
  • Certificate/License: A RHIT credential is desirable but not required.
