Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our center operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading by example, and creating a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
  • Ensure day-to-day execution of medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
  • Monitor key clinical center metrics, including quality outcomes, practice indicators, and case duration.
  • Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with APC supervisory requirements.
  • Create a professional and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork, quality, and patient safety.
  • Work with DMO to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement.
  • Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and charge capture.
  • Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations.
  • Drive patient and client experience metrics.
  • Communicate with employers on all new injuries and other significant clinical changes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O.
  • Board certified by ABPM, ABFM, or medical board in the state where employed.
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • ACLS Certified, preferred.
  • Five to eight years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

  • Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information, including HIPAA and PHI.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, clinical operations, OSHA, and DOT.
