Compensation:$120,000
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with real estate agents, underwriting departments, and other mortgage professionals to facilitate seamless transactions.
- Stay informed on current mortgage industry trends and lending rates; build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage lenders and real estate professionals.
- Collect necessary documentation including credit history, income verification, and background checks to assess applicants' creditworthiness.
- Advise clients on various loan options, the buying or refinancing process, and lending guidelines.
- Submit application files to lenders on behalf of homeowners.
- Outstanding communication, time management, and analytical skills; must be resourceful and self-sufficient.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office and loan origination software is essential.
- A bachelor's degree in real estate law, banking, finance, business administration, or economics is preferred.
- Must have 5 years of experience in mortgage loan origination or as a loan officer.
- A current NMLS license or certification from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers is required.
