Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Installation Specialist to join our team at Mediacom Communications. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the successful installation of our cable television and broadband services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain cable television and broadband services in customer homes and businesses
  • Perform new connects, reconnects, and disconnects of service
  • Install and upgrade equipment, including converters and modems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to identify cable routes and connections
  • Use hand tools and equipment to perform installations and repairs
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, including crawl spaces and attics
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools
