POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated full-time bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist for our clinic in Mesquite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct a minimum of 120 therapy sessions each month, ensuring full-time engagement.
  • Work within clinic hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, with scheduled sessions primarily from Monday to Thursday.
  • Assess and treat patients with various speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders, adhering to all relevant guidelines.
  • Design, modify, and implement individualized Plans of Care that set appropriate goals for each patient.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all services and interactions in accordance with company standards.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including treatment notes and evaluations, within specified deadlines.
  • Exhibit professionalism and effective communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide educational resources and collaborate with families to support patient progress.
  • Keep up with continuing education requirements and maintain licensure in Texas.
  • Follow all organizational policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and families.
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Current Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists and fellow SLPs.
  • Experience with a diverse range of pediatric communication and swallowing disorders.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, with Fridays available for evaluations and documentation.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation is based on patient visits, with an average annual salary ranging from $55K to $75K, paid biweekly.
