We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at The Estee Lauder Companies. As a key member of our Corporate Tax department, you will be responsible for managing the U.S. State & Local income tax compliance process, including review and follow-up with external tax advisors to ensure efficient and timely preparation of complete and accurate U.S. State & Local income tax return filings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the compilation of U.S. State & Local apportionment data and review the data for accuracy and reasonableness prior to submitting to external tax advisors for preparation of the U.S. State & Local income tax returns.
- Review and approve, as applicable, U.S. State & Local income tax payments as well as other EFT payments (including tax filings associated with WHT payments relating to royalties for U.S. legal entities).
- Assist with U.S. State & Local income tax planning activities as required, including managing engagement with external tax advisors.
- Develop and maintain key strategic relationships within the Company to facilitate a deep understanding of the Company's business operating model.
- Transfer Pricing subject matter expertise in the State & Local as well as International tax areas.
- Ability to manage and influence internal & external stakeholders.
- Review, analyze and interpret data and make planning and compliance recommendations that are consistent with federal, state and international tax regulations and align with the Company's business operations.
The Estee Lauder Companies offers a highly competitive salary range of $85,000 to $139,600, as well as a bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and many others.
