Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Public Health Dietitian Leader to join our Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program team. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will provide leadership and expertise in developing and implementing nutrition education programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

About the Role:

This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve program goals. You will work closely with management, staff, and clients to ensure seamless program delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition education programs for WIC participants.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on nutrition-related topics, providing guidance and support to staff and clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and community groups to enhance program services.
  • Analyze program data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing WIC programs.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of program delivery.
  • Develop and manage budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet program needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
  • Valid State of Michigan driver's license.
  • At least 5 years of full-time professional RDN experience in public health or outpatient settings.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
