Austin Industries is seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Electrician Technician to join our team. As an Instrumentation and Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting controlling, indicating, and measuring instrument devices to ensure specified operating performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation and Calibration: Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot controlling, indicating, and measuring instrument devices to ensure specified operating performance.
- Electrical and Pneumatic Systems: Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot all types of electronic process controls, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems and components.
- Chemical Plant Process Equipment: Understand common types of chemical plant process equipment such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, boilers, turbines, and compressors.
- Measurement and Testing: Apply procedures for measuring pressure level, flow, temperature, weight, density, heat flux, humidity, and moisture.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical work.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems, instrumentation, and chemical plant process equipment.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current electrician's license or identification card.
