Key Responsibilities:

  • Instrumentation and Calibration: Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot controlling, indicating, and measuring instrument devices to ensure specified operating performance.
  • Electrical and Pneumatic Systems: Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot all types of electronic process controls, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems and components.
  • Chemical Plant Process Equipment: Understand common types of chemical plant process equipment such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, boilers, turbines, and compressors.
  • Measurement and Testing: Apply procedures for measuring pressure level, flow, temperature, weight, density, heat flux, humidity, and moisture.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical work.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems, instrumentation, and chemical plant process equipment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current electrician's license or identification card.
