We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as a CPEP Specialist. As a key member of our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), you will be responsible for providing cutting-edge, evidence-based psychiatric care to patients who present to our emergency department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for patients presenting to the CPEP
  • Initiate treatment for acute and chronic psychiatric and medical illnesses
  • Coordinate disposition planning with Social Work and Physician Assistant staff
  • Document incidents in conjunction with other members of the treatment team
  • Distribute work among physicians and other treatment team members
Qualifications:
  • Eligible for licensure in the state of New York
  • ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Graduated from an ACGME or AOA approved training program
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of satisfactory full-time paid clinical experience in psychiatric practice
  • Superior clinical, diagnostic, interpersonal/communication, and team-building skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Ability to make sound and timely triage, treatment, and disposition decisions

Annual Base Salary Range:

$236,900 (board eligible) - $247,200 (board certified)
