Job Summary and Qualifications
  • You will operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of specified areas of the body.
  • Under the guidance of a Radiologist, your responsibilities include performing x-ray therapy on patients, explaining procedures, and addressing their concerns.
  • You will assist patients in our emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings.
  • Procedures will be performed in accordance with established protocols for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
  • You will maintain expert technical and patient-care skills, ensuring quality diagnostic results.

Required Job Qualifications include:

  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification.
  • Must maintain current registry by participating in continuing education activities to uphold knowledge and skill levels.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferably, 2 years of recent acute care experience.
