Position Overview:
UCHealth (Colorado) is currently in search of a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducts a variety of imaging examinations in alignment with established standards and organizational policies.
  • Reviews patient medical history and physician directives, ensuring thorough scheduling and patient education regarding procedures and equipment.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and medications as required, while continuously monitoring patient conditions and responding to any changes.
  • Prepares imaging equipment and selects appropriate exposure settings. Implements safety protocols and performs quality control checks on equipment, addressing any malfunctions as needed.
  • Positions patients accurately for imaging procedures, analyzes imaging results, and resolves any quality issues through repositioning or repeating procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with a degree from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required, along with any necessary state licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, with a valid card required prior to employment.
