Description: Girard Resources & Recycling, LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

We have a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, including dump trucks, crushers, screens, excavators, chippers, and loaders. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy equipment
  • Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects and ensure proper performance
  • Perform repairs and maintenance using specialized tools and equipment
  • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear and replace as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience with heavy equipment and dump trucks
  • Ability to read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulic, fuel, and brake lines
