Job Summary: HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Structures Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft through various stages of heavy maintenance and repair. Your expertise will be utilized to modify aircraft structure parts or interiors, perform C and D checks, and routine maintenance on aircraft as required. You will also be responsible for fabricating repair parts using special shop tooling and utilizing special installation tools. Responsibilities:
  • Perform all stages of heavy aircraft maintenance and repair to ensure airworthiness.
  • Modify aircraft structure parts or interiors using OEM and Engineering drawings.
  • Perform C and D checks and routine maintenance on aircraft as required.
  • Fabricate repair parts using special shop tooling.
  • Utilize special installation tools, such as blind rivet guns.
  • Operate in compliance with company safety practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
  • Previous Commercial MRO experience is highly required.
  • 3+ Years of experience on Heavy Aircraft - Boeing or Airbus.
  • Experience with SRM repair.
  • Experience with floor beam repairs, frame repairs, stringer repairs, seat track repairs, etc.
  • Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft.
  • Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data.
  • Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
  • Standard Tool Kit required.

  • Proficiency in relevant specialty of aircraft.
  • Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
  • Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
  • Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals.
  • Conduct operational tests.
  • Help with general clean-up of work area.
  • Responsible for accurately clocking to jobs.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
  • The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to high.
  • May occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • This position requires use of a respirator.
