Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Machine Operators who specialize in the fabrication of metal components, specifically Aluminum and Steel, in accordance with engineering specifications for vehicle and trailer outfitting in the utilities and telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities of Machine Operators

  • Efficiently and safely operate various machinery utilized in the manufacturing process, including:
    • Band Saws
    • Chop Saws
    • CNC Turret
    • Metal Brake
    • Spot Welder
    • CNC Milling Machine
  • Accurately measure and assess parts against engineering drawings using tools such as Calipers, Tape Measures, and Micrometers.
  • Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
  • Assist in the application of 5-S principles within the fabrication shop.

Qualifications for Machine Operators

  • Strong proficiency in mathematical functions, including fractions, decimals, and multiplication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for interpreting assembly drawings and part numbers.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while collaborating with team members.
  • Exhibit personal effectiveness, credibility, and ethical conduct.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

  • Standard working hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.
  • Overtime may be required on Fridays, typically for a half-day when necessary.
  • Compensation ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
