Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Catalyst Acoustics Group Midwest North Aurora. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering design and build project work from conceptual design through drawing completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take top-level assembly drawings and provide clear details to Production for all components, calculating material requirements, cutting sizes and quantities, by following Company Standard Processes and Drawings.
- Create flat layouts for CNC programming, when necessary.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
- Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process.
- Complete details and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree.
- Sheet metal CNC programming knowledge, preferably Amada AP-100.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with basic 2D and 3D modeling operations.
- Proficient in Excel, with the ability to work with and across spreadsheets and apply basic mathematical operations.
- Creativity and spatial relationships vision, with mathematics and analytical thinking.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication (gauges, materials, bending allowances).
- Hands-on individual capable of working under minimum supervision.
- Excellent technical aptitude, analytical and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Visual Manufacturing, JDE, or SAP.
- Knowledge of Solid Works.
- Knowledge of software programming skills in SQL and .Net.
