Restaurant Manager

Firehouse Subs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Operations: Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and any other relevant regulations.
  • Staff Management: Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture of a cheerful and fun work environment and Firehouse Subs beliefs and values.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies to operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Financial Management: Ensure the profitability of the business by operating within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllable, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Marketing and Community Involvement: Actively participate in local restaurant marketing in the local trade area and implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Leadership and Development: Be accountable for the continuous training and development of the restaurant Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively to the GM/Owner any and all issues that may impact the business.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and communicate problems immediately to the Owner.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of management experience
  • Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Open availability - ability to work weekends and some nights required
  • Cash handling skills required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office required
  • Top-notch customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a strong team
