At Michaels Stores, we're looking for a skilled Cashier and Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast and friendly customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store display.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of retail sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
