Electrical Journeyman Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our team at Interstates in Brainerd, MN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit
  • Oversee or participate in wire installations with conduit and cable tray
  • Connect power to equipment
  • Lead or develop up to 4 apprentice electricians
  • Knowledge of other construction trades
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs. in a construction work environment
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools
  • May be exposed to high and precarious places
  • Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferred
  • State-issued Journeyman Electrician License (NCCER does not qualify as a state license)
