Electrical Journeyman Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our team at Interstates Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduit
  • Overseeing or participating in wire installations with conduit and cable tray
  • Connecting power to equipment
  • Leading or developing up to 4 apprentice electricians
  • Knowledge of other construction trades
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs. in a construction work environment
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferred
  • State-issued Journeyman Electrician License
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
