About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex radiographic procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations.
  • Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members prior to exams.
  • Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Assess and recognize patients' emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
  • Establish age-appropriate patient care plans that coordinate multiple rehab disciplines into a unified overarching plan of care.
  • Prepare rooms for examinations, check physician orders, and handle patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes, or other devices.
  • Operate, care for, and maintain equipment, administer contrast media and other medications as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire.
  • CMRT certification by the TDH or TMB upon hire.
  • ARRT certification.
  • BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
