Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and recognize patient emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions
  • Prepare rooms for examination, check physician orders, and greet patients
  • Obtain patient history, handle patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes, or other devices, and monitor patients during imaging
  • Perform complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations
  • Adjust technique parameters, assist licensed practitioners, and maintain attention to detail
  • Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science or completion of an accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • GMRT-General Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT only upon hire preferred
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire
