Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative II to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Houston, TX. As a Sales Representative II, you will be responsible for targeting and acquiring new accounts, working with regional sales representatives to create strategy and support sales efforts, building relationships with customers, and resolving customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeting and acquiring new accounts by identifying new customers.
  • Working with regional sales representatives in creating strategy and supporting sales efforts to expand volume within targeted accounts.
  • Building relationships with customers.
  • Work to resolve customer complaints.
  • Strengthening and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Managing activities within assigned cost budgets.
  • Effectively document duties including but not limited to weekly call reports, industry equipment counts, market information and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the industry or related construction trades.
  • Proven track record of reliability.
  • Ability to lift over 30lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Demonstrable effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. SAP a plus.
