Tesla is seeking a seasoned systems engineering leader to join our Platform Storage Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing our Cloud Storage Platform, which is critical to our datacenter and factory floor operations.
Responsibilities- Maintain and scale our growing Linux fleet through automation and problem-solving
- Collaborate with global teams to develop a secure, fault-resilient, and world-class storage layer for our workloads
- Propel systems automation, configuration management, and provisioning standardization processes
- Work with Infosec to reinforce secure by default practices
- Influence architectural decisions with a focus on security, scalability, and high-performance
- Author technical documentation, reference architectures, policies, and best practices for our platforms
- Proficiency with Python or Bash
- Proficiency with Linux systems fundamentals
- Experience working with containers and a strong understanding of container architectures
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams globally
- Self-driven with an analytical, first principles mindset and a bias for action
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or proof of exceptional skills in a related field

$140,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
