Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Surgical team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with 1 year of RN experience is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.
