Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with certification from the State Nurse Registry in Michigan.
  • Training: Completion of an accredited training program and competency evaluation.
  • Skills: Must fulfill federal Home Health Aide training standards, demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, and effectively manage emergencies.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant.
Job Characteristics:
  • Physical Demands: Requires physical stamina, including lifting patients and undergoing annual health assessments.
  • Mental Demands: Capability to work independently, handle stress, and maintain a constructive outlook.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to endure exposure to various odors, bodily fluids, and potentially hazardous materials.
