Join our team at The Avalon of Bloomfield Township, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a engaging and inclusive community culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director of Life Enrichment to plan and coordinate resident activities, including special events and outings.
- Promote a healthy and inclusive community culture among residents and staff.
- Transport residents to off-site activities and appointments using our facility shuttle bus.
- Provide educational opportunities for residents and staff on disease prevention and management.
- Lead daily resident activities and assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars.
- Plan and execute diverse programs to meet the needs of our diverse resident population.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Six months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement. If you're a team player who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others, we'd love to hear from you.
