Vocational Nurse

To provide high-quality patient care as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a correctional setting, working closely with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, including administering medications and treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
* Participate in multidisciplinary treatment plans, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all care provided and any changes in patient status.
* Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
* Graduation from a Licensed Vocational Nurse Program and current license/permit as a vocational nurse in the State of Texas.
* Current BLS-HP certification.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient care and responding to emergencies as needed.
