Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Train, schedule, and supervise maintenance and custodial staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve overall performance.
  • Facility Maintenance and Repair
    • Conduct regular building inspections to identify and address maintenance and repair needs.
    • Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Inventory Management and Purchasing
    • Oversee inventory management and purchasing processes to ensure accurate tracking and timely delivery of supplies and materials.
    • Verify invoices and ensure proper billing procedures.
  • Facility Planning and Development
    • Develop and implement facility plans to achieve operational goals and objectives.
    • Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth execution of plans and projects.
  • Health and Safety
    • Conduct regular fire drills and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
    • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 8 years of experience in facility management.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Comprehensive knowledge of property management principles and practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
    • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
