Purpose of Job:


Assist with all financial and accounting functions within the department.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all financial check runs and reconciliations
  • Create financial reports and provide data analysis support
  • Prepare and enter all financial journal entries and account maintenance
  • Support financial close process for month and year end
  • Assist in billing and customer service support
  • Assist in financial planning and budgeting

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and transportation
  • Proven attention to detail & quality focused
  • Demonstrated Analytical & Comprehensive skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and changing priorities
  • Proven sound decision making skills, problem solving skills, detail oriented and shows initiative
  • Proven understanding of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree or High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • Experience with financial systems and software

Compensation:

The hourly range for this role is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealthcare complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealthcare offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
