Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider

Virginia Mason Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Palliative Care team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients and their families dealing with serious illnesses.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with our interprofessional team to deliver high-quality palliative care services in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the Palliative Care program.
- Provide education and training to staff and learners on palliative care best practices.
- Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, medicine, physician assistant studies).
- Current licensure and certification in the state of Washington (e.g., APRN, PA-C).
- Experience in palliative care or a related field (e.g., oncology, critical care).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
