Job Summary

The Education Programs Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of professional health education programs at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). This position is responsible for coordinating program operations, including teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and program accreditation.

The incumbent will work closely with program administrators, program directors, and trainees to ensure the smooth execution of educational programs. This includes assisting with curriculum planning, evaluations, accreditation compliance, expense reimbursements, and day-to-day office administration.

The primary role of the Education Programs Coordinator will be to serve as the compliance coordinator for ACGME and GME requirements for trainees and programs. This involves ensuring that all programs meet the necessary standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program operations, including teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, and program accreditation
  • Assist program administrators, program directors, and trainees with curriculum planning, evaluations, accreditation compliance, expense reimbursements, and day-to-day office administration
  • Serve as the compliance coordinator for ACGME and GME requirements for trainees and programs
  • Maintain databases and track learner compliance
  • Develop and implement processes and systems to support program operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training
  • Minimum of one year of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop working relationships within the department and with learners
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and attention to detail
