Job Overview

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Chemical Technician to fill a one-year assignment in a water treatment plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting chemical analyses, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers and chromatographs
  • Conduct chemical analyses, including pH and conductivity measurements
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and calibrating equipment
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 semester hours in chemistry
  • Prior experience in a water treatment plant or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a variety of environments, including laboratories and industrial settings.
