About the Role

CBRE is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building system operations and performance. This includes plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Maintain an energy management program to ensure all systems operate in the most efficient manner.
  • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
  • Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Universal CFC certification is preferred.
  • Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
  • Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
