Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Building Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.

Working under close supervision, you will assist in monitoring building system operations and performance. You will apply several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Responsibilities
  • Performs complex preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and/or HVAC equipment, machinery, and controls located in the interior and exterior of buildings.
  • Monitors building system operations and performance, working under general direction.
  • Has critical, specialized knowledge required at client sites.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Eight+ years of experience in electrical systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC
  • Universal CFC certification required
  • Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair
