Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Engineer/Architect to join our Buildings and Structures Practice in New York, NY. As a key member of our national practice, you will work collaboratively with our team to lead and grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and analyses to determine the root causes of building envelope and building material failures.
  • Develop and implement analytical and computer-based problem-solving solutions.
  • Perform field investigations and diagnostic surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new and existing clients.
  • Successfully manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain highly qualified staff to support our growth and success.
Requirements
  • M.S./Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a degree in architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical engineering/architecture.
  • Proven business development and client management track record, with a strong ability to attract projects and support full-time staff.
  • Professional license in Engineering or Architecture in New York.
  • An outstanding professional reputation with an existing client base.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support multiple group projects.

Compensation

We offer a total compensation plan that is consistent with our expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed. Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions, with opportunities for career growth and development. The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and capabilities, which will be assessed during the interview process.

The base salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00 to USD $180,000.00 per year.
