Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Waukesha Memorial. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Takes direction from technician leads, pharmacists, and leadership to respond to patient, hospital, and staff requests.
  • Follows department procedures and policies for all medication management tasks.
  • Supports ProHealth Care Mission and Value statements, including compliance with USP guidelines, TJC standards, Federal and State Laws and Regulations.
  • Recognizes normal dose ranges and selects pharmaceutical ingredients from stock for order processing.
  • Possesses skills to reconstitute, aseptically compound, count, pour, and package non-sterile products into final dosage forms as specified.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered with State of Wisconsin.
  • 18 years of age and has graduated from high school or equivalent.
