Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled LPN Back Office Coordinator to join our team at Piedmont. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of clinical staff, ensuring smooth and effective back office operations, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Clinical Staff: Oversee the daily supervision of clinical staff, including phlebotomy and lab duties, to ensure seamless back office operations.
  • Patient Triage and Room Assignment: Ensure patients are triaged in a timely manner and assigned to the appropriate rooms.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure sufficient clinical staff are present for daily operations and advise the practice manager and physicians of staffing needs.
  • PTO Requests and Approval: Review and forward PTO requests to the practice manager for approval.
  • Staff Selection, Supervision, and Counseling: Assist the practice manager with the selection, supervision, and counseling of clinical staff.
  • Quality and Safety Initiatives: Serve as the super user for quality, safety, and other clinical initiatives.
  • Medical Supply Management: Inventory and order necessary medical supplies, project costs, and arrange for delivery to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Clinical Services and Patient Care: Provide a wide variety of clinical services to patients under direct supervision of a physician.
Qualifications
  • Education: Successful completion of an accredited practical nurse program.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of back office experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure/Certification: State of Georgia licensure as a practical nurse.
  • Preferred Qualifications: BLS required.
