Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Controls Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading project control initiatives in collaboration with the internal project management team to ensure project deliverables are met within budget and timeline.
- Setting up projects in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
- Conducting data analysis, reviewing logs, and generating reports using the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other relevant tools.
- Creating and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) while developing effective scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts for multiple projects.
- Adhering to project execution plans, overseeing engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost management.
- Acting as a liaison for technical inquiries from the project team.
- Reviewing and approving Purchase Orders and/or Subcontracts for accurate coding.
- Documenting changes to cost reports or forecasts.
- Collaborating with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to assess project costs and contingency costs, as well as supporting external audits.
- Evaluating upstream (prime contract) and downstream (purchase order & subcontract) change orders.
- Preparing and presenting cash flow reports and various levels of schedules.
- Monitoring schedule logic ties and resource loading.
- Facilitating Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM).
- Generating various schedule reports and determining suitable reporting formats.
- Reviewing and analyzing pre-programmed project scheduling reports and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- Consulting with the project team regarding schedule progress.
- Employing critical path method scheduling techniques, estimating, project cost management, and forecasting.
- Conducting schedule what-if scenarios and maintaining an earned value management system.
- Validating progress measurement and developing progress curves.
- Performing material take-offs and quality checks on project controls deliverables.
- Conducting field audits to ensure reporting and processes are accurate.
- Assisting with Project Forensic Analysis.
- Adhering to all company policies and standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in project controls.
- Familiarity with Oracle Primavera P6 is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to obtain OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
