We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northern Nevada Health System. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- Current BLS certification
- One year of imaging experience, preferably in ultrasound
