About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including ultrasound, to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness, ensuring that radiologists receive the necessary information for accurate diagnoses.
  • Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (e.g., Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology).
  • One year of experience in imaging or a related field.
  • Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, as needed.
