Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Therapist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our chemical dependency department, you will provide addiction diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, case management, and individual/group counseling for clients with chemical dependency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine diagnosis and appropriate level of care
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling to engage and motivate clients throughout treatment
  • Develop treatment plans that are individualized and culturally sensitive
  • Communicate with other care providers and referral sources to increase understanding of client problems and assets
Requirements
  • Associates, Bachelors, or Master's Degree in Human Service field required
  • CASAC, OASAS QHP required, LMHC-P (Permit) or CASAC-T permitted with the condition that full certification is obtained within 24 months
  • Completion of a clinical internship in chemical dependency or at least one (1) year of work experience in chemical dependency
  • Compassionate, understanding, and thoughtful
  • Extremely organized with an attention to detail
