About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Therapist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our chemical dependency team, you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and individual/group counseling to clients struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine diagnosis and appropriate level of care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and effective
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling to engage and motivate clients throughout treatment
  • Communicate with other care providers and referral sources to increase understanding of client problems and assets
Requirements
  • Associates, Bachelors, or Master's Degree in a Human Service field
  • CASAC-T certification required
  • Completion of a clinical internship in chemical dependency or at least one year of work experience in chemical dependency
  • Compassionate, understanding, and thoughtful approach to client care
