Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in establishing the strategic vision, executing, and overseeing four nationwide Society initiatives: Workplace Giving, Tribute and Memorial Giving, Social Media Giving, and Community Giving Days. Collectively, these initiatives generate approximately $5 million in annual revenue. This position is designed to strengthen the Society's comprehensive fundraising strategy by developing a consistent and extensive pipeline of individual donors while enhancing and deepening corporate partner engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workplace Giving: Oversee the Society's involvement in workplace giving campaigns across both private and public sectors, collaborating with organizations such as Combined Health Charities and Benevity.
  • Partner with Development staff to incorporate Workplace Giving into corporate partnership strategies, attract new corporate partners, and assist these partners in implementing giving programs.
  • Regularly coordinate with Development, Community Leadership, and MS Ambassador teams to promote workplace giving and strategies to enhance volunteer and donor engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and execute marketing strategies.
  • Act as the primary development contact for all inquiries, activities, policies, and training related to Workplace Giving.
  • Ensure adherence to business standards for revenue and data management in partnership with Finance and the Constituent Information Center.
  • Develop and implement ongoing stewardship strategies in collaboration with the Donor Experience team.

Community Campaigns:

  • Manage and execute the Society's participation in prominent community giving campaigns at both national and state levels.
  • Work alongside Development staff, Chapter Presidents, Marketing, and Donor Experience teams to enhance promotional and fundraising strategies.
  • Analyze campaign outcomes and identify growth opportunities.
  • Create and distribute specialized campaign toolkits across Development and other Society departments.

Tributes and Memorials:

  • Collaborate with Development and Marketing teams to formulate a strategic plan for enhancing the Tribute giving program.
  • Assist Development staff in stewarding tribute and memorial funds established by their portfolio donors and educate them on the process of creating a memorial or tribute fund.
  • Work with the cross-functional Tributes team to ensure all tribute gifts are acknowledged and managed appropriately.

Social Media Campaigns:

  • Partner with the Social Media team to recognize and steward donors contributing through social media platforms.
  • Develop strategies to grow Social Media donor engagement and facilitate connections with Relationship Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (consideration for candidates with substantial experience in a non-profit setting may be given).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workplace and community giving.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in managing large volumes of information effectively.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems promptly.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve both individual and collective goals.
  • Professional demeanor in interactions with staff and the public.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, fundraising CRMs, and donor databases.
  • Experience in data management and reporting within a CRM.
  • Strong problem-solving and research capabilities.
  • Project management and scheduling expertise.
  • Familiarity with various fundraising technology products.

Compensation & Benefits:

The estimated compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, contingent upon geographic location and career experience.
