About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.
  • Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
  • Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
  • Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of Full-time mammography experience.
