About the Role

This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
  • Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
  • May be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
  • Within 1 year of hire, National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
