Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic images and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Interact with patients in a caring and comforting manner, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Perform quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current certification in mammography and radiography
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in mammography or radiography
  • Experience working in a high-volume outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of imaging software and equipment
